Seger Beach is a beach located adjacent to Mandalika beach (Kuta Beach) in Central Lombok. This beach is located right behind the hill on the left side of Novotel Kuta, you can get there by walking from Kuta Beach. You will pass a bridge, after which you will climb the hill.
Behind the beauty of the beach is owned by the stored history or stories about Princess Mandalika or better known as cultural tourism events in Lombok which known as Festivsl Bau Nyale. Seger beach is the center of Bau Nyale celebration in Central Lombok, which is based on the local stories of yore believed there was a princess named Princess Mandalika who jumped into the Sea from the hill in Seger Beach and transformed into a sea worm (Nyale) which appear only once in a year, festivals and rituals are held every year around the month of February, this beach will be crowded due to the surrounding communities will roll in finding and catching the sea worms that tastes was very delicious. On the Seger beach, there are plenty of hills to climb and from the top we can enjoy the beautiful scenery around.
How to get there
If we through the shoreline, Seger beach located very close to Kuta. However, If we passing through the paved road, it becomes pretty much chaving to take a twisted path.
